What if there's no one I want to live with?

We encourage you to explore options to find potential roommates and suitemates. However, please note that during Housing Selection in April, if you enter as a single individual, it will only show single room options. If there are no single rooms available during your selection time, you will not have any options to select. The process in April prioritizes groups who can fill an entire suite and/or room which is why we encourage students to try to find a group.

Students with on-campus housing applications who do not select housing by the end of their selection period (e.g. April 14 for Rising Sophomores) will be assigned by the Residence Life and Housing office. Assignments will be made based on availability at the time of placement and aligned with the communities designated for their class year. As these placements occur after the selection window has closed, room type, building preference, and room.
