What if I don't find a space during selection?

First, we encourage you to stop by our Housing Selection Help Desk in Angelou on the day of your selection if you do not find a space during selection.

Please know the following:

Students with on-campus housing applications who do not select housing by the end of their selection period (e.g. April 14 for Rising Sophomores) will be assigned by the Residence Life and Housing office. Assignments will be made based on availability at the time of placement and aligned with the communities designated for their class year. As these placements occur after the selection window has closed, room type, building preference, and roommate requests cannot be guaranteed. 

Rising seniors who have fulfilled their residency requirement will not be automatically assigned; instead, they will be reclassified to off-campus status and charged a $250 cancellation fee for their housing application.
